Install the skills

Run /product-marketing-context first

This is the most important step. Before anything else, run this command in Claude Code:

/product-marketing-context

Claude will either auto-draft a context file from your codebase or walk you through it conversationally. It builds a file at .agents/product-marketing-context.md covering 12 sections:

  1. Product overview — one-liner, category, business model
  2. Target audience — company type, decision-maker roles, jobs to be done
  3. Personas — what each buying role cares about
  4. Problems and pain points — core challenge, why existing solutions fall short
  5. Competitive landscape — direct, secondary, and indirect competitors
  6. Differentiation — why customers choose you
  7. Objections and anti-personas — top 3 objections, who is not a good fit
  8. Switching dynamics — JTBD Four Forces
  9. Customer language — verbatim phrases to use and avoid
  10. Brand voice — tone, style, personality
  11. Proof points — metrics, customers, testimonials
  12. Goals — primary business goal, conversion action, current metrics
Without this file, every skill starts cold. With it, skills skip setup entirely and go straight to the task. Run it once per project.

Invoke any skill

Type any skill command in Claude Code. The skill reads your context file automatically and only asks for information specific to the current task.

Update your context anytime

Run /product-marketing-context again and choose "update specific sections" whenever your positioning, pricing, or audience changes. Every skill picks up the changes automatically on the next run.
